Causing a Ruckus

Businesswoman Change Dry Season To Spring

Change is hard! However, maintaining the status quo will ultimately deplete your resources and energy for change in the future. You find yourself getting stuck and even more afraid of changing your path for fear of the unknown. By bringing change about in small ways at home or the office, forging a new path will be much less tiresome.

I’ve spent a great deal of my life in a constant state of change, so consider myself a bit of an expert! Read a little About Me or view my Purpose Statement to see the road I’m paving. You might think you’re looking at someone who doesn’t know exactly where she’s going. You might be right, but in my opinion, you are looking at someone who likes to create a ruckus. The irony being, the constant state of change I have been in my whole life has led me to a path of clarity. I now see where I can be my authentic self which is incredibly freeing.

Creating a ruckus by making little changes daily and not being afraid of taking risks has served me well. Seth Godin (2012) reminds us of the importance of making a ruckus. Poking the bear and evoking a response, any response is what makes life interesting and terribly satisfying for me. Sure, I love stability too…but do my best to seek risk and change in everything I practice.

I hope you enjoy perusing my site. I’ve had a great time working my way through my Master’s degree and discovering creative ways to make a ruckus!
